6 free agents the Vikings can't afford to lose in 2024

Vikings Player No. 2
K.J. Osborn, wide receiver
Osborn’s re-signing with Minnesota after 2023 might depend on what rookie Jordan Addison does this year. Should Addison look like the second coming of Cris Carter (or maybe even Anthony Carter for that matter) , Osborn may get pushed out in 2024.
Assuming Osborn plays up to his ability and stays free from injury in ‘23, it's hard to see him leaving. After all, this is a player who went from zero stats in his 2020 rookie year to 50 receptions in 2021 and then 60 catches, 650 yards, and eight combined touchdowns last year.
Osborn was fantastic alongside Justin Jefferson and Hockenson in the Vikings' offense. Simply put, he comes to work, does his job, and contributes to Minnesota’s success. Also, it pays to have a good, dependable second receiver in an NFL offense.
