Senior Bowl Takeaway No. 6

There's never been a better time to need an OT

The Vikings have the luxury of having two very good offensive tackles to bookend the offensive line. Even with Christian Darrisaw and Brian O'Neill on the roster, I think the Vikings would strongly benefit from taking an offensive tackle in this draft.

The top three tackles in this class are going to be instant game-changers for teams in need at the top of the first round. There are several others who will be selected in the top 50 and even more who will go later but have a chance to start early in their careers.

You can never have too many good offensive linemen, and developing a good tackle can open a lot of doors for the team moving forward. They can either flip one later for more draft picks or move on from O'Neill and save a ton of money in the process.

This tackle class is one of the best units in the draft, [[[[ge a possible trade down to let teams come up for a starter in the early rounds.

Oregon State's Taliese Fuaga is trending toward the top-12 and with the Raiders, Saints, and Seahawks all needed tackles, the Vikings are in a prime spot to move down if they like the board enough.
