Prediction No. 4

Minnesota will select at least two cornerbacks in this year's draft

You may have been screaming at your device, asking, "WHAT ABOUT CORNERBACKS?" Yes, cornerback is a top need for the Vikings and it's likely that Flores will come away with multiple defensive backs in this year's draft.

Cornerback is one of the strengths of this year's class, and Minnesota could very well take one with the 23rd overall pick. Devon Witherspoon of Illinois, Christian Gonzalez of Oregon, and Joey Porter Jr. of Penn State are the top corners in this year's class, but the Vikings could be enamored with Maryland's Deonte Banks or Mississippi State's Emmanuel Forbes.

It's also possible that Minnesota could take a hybrid defensive back in the first round, as Brian Branch can play safety as well as cover in the slot. Even if the Vikings decide to wait until the later rounds, there's plenty of depth that can add a solid player to the defense.

In switching to a more aggressive, man-heavy scheme, Minnesota will need cornerbacks in order to make it work. If the top prospects don't fall, expect the Vikings to be aggressive anyway to bolster a secondary that was one of the worst in the NFL last season.
