Mohamed Ibrahim is a player that many Vikings fans need no introduction to, as he is a product of the University of Minnesota. Ibrahim had an impressive tenure in his college career as a Golden Gopher, and there is no doubt that Ibrahim would be a fan favorite from Day 1.

Though Ibrahim is originally from Maryland, his college career cemented him as a true Minnesotan, so who better to take him than the Vikings?

While Ibrahim had a solid college career, his injury history and age are big concerns. He will turn 25 during his rookie season, and he has dealt with lower body injuries that have taken a toll on him.

Ibrahim profiles like Xazavian Valladay in the sense that he is most likely a rookie contract-and-done candidate, as running backs just don’t last very long in the NFL.

Ibrahim is a tough runner who fights for every yard he gets, but his skill-set is purely limited to being a runner, as he doesn’t add extra as a receiver. Mohamed Ibrahim could surely come into the NFL and produce right away, as he is not one to roll over and give up, but there is no denying that the running back clock is ticking on the Golden Gopher great.
