Zach Evans finds himself on this list as he has been confirmed as a player that the Vikings brass have met with in the pre-draft process. Evans is a player who, while simultaneously going under the radar, continues to receive praise in his pre-draft profiles.

Evans could very well be a steal for the Vikings in the middle rounds of the draft, as he has the all-around tools to usurp Alexander Mattison as RB1 in Minnesota.

The biggest concern for Evans is that he has dealt with nagging injuries during his college career, something that NFL teams will need to do their homework on before selecting him.

When Evans is on the field, he is an exceptional back, as you can see by his stellar 6.5 yards per carry. He leaves a lot to be desired in the receiving aspect, though he has shown flashes of being a serviceable target out of the backfield.

Evans is a fairly low-risk, high-reward player in this draft, as he is constantly projected in rounds three or four, but he has all the physical tools to outplay that draft position when it’s time for him to hit the field.
