6 teams Danielle Hunter might sign with for the 2024 season

Team No. 6
Chicago Bears
The ultimate doomsday scenario for the Vikings could happen in Chicago, where the Bears have plenty of cap space and the No. 1 overall pick to complete Ryan Poles’s rebuild in the Windy City.
Poles’s plan has been ridiculed by many as he stripped the Bears down to the studs and has used cap space and draft picks to bring it back to contention. Although the Bears finished with the league’s worst record in 2022, they took advantage by trading the No. 1 overall pick to Carolina and getting the Panthers’ No. 1 overall pick this season.
With Poles already spending in free agency to bring Trumaine Edmonds and Montez Sweat into the picture, the Bears are “very high” on Hunter, according to Fowler, and could swoop in to land him in free agency this spring.
This could be the best option for Hunter moving forward. The Bears have $66.9 million in cap space to give Hunter the type of mega-deal he wants, and they also offer the opportunity to play the Vikings twice after they’ve repeatedly spurned him over said contract.
The Bears could be salivating at this possibility and it could have the Vikings going the extra mile to keep Hunter in Minnesota.
