The Minnesota Vikings training camp schedule has been announced, but what could happen as they prepare for the upcoming 2023 season?

On Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings will converge upon TCO Performance Center as they prepare for training camp.

Although the current facility doesn’t have the same nostalgia as trips to Mankato once did, the excitement is still there as unheralded players will find a way to impress, new faces will burst onto the scene and the heat will be rising throughout camp – just like the tempers on the field.

This year’s camp should have a similar feel as the Vikings are in transition. With Adam Thielen, Eric Kendricks, and Dalvin Cook gone, this will be the first real chance for some young players to step up.

There will also be a fair share of developments off the field as Brian Flores looks to turn around Minnesota's defense, and contract disputes should be nearing a resolution.

All of this sets the stage for some bold predictions that could not only determine how the Vikings will look like this preseason but also how they could stack up when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to open the 2023 season on Sept. 10th.

Let's begin with the first prediction.
