Dalvin Cook - RB (New York Jets)

After six seasons, the Vikings made the difficult decision earlier this year to part with Dalvin Cook and let him go find a new home in the NFL.

There were plenty of rumors floating around about teams that had interest in signing Cook after Minnesota released him. Eventually, he wound up signing a one-year deal worth $7 million with the New York Jets.

To say that Cook's tenure with the Jets hasn't gone well would be a severe understatement. He hasn't been able to make any sort of impact, but he's also only averaged about six touches per game during his time on the field with New York this season.

Whether it's due to Cook's performance declining or the Jets just not knowing how to use him in their offense, the 2023 campaign has easily been the worst seasons of his NFL career, and he tore his ACL four games into his first year with the Vikings.

In 14 appearances for New York this season, Cook has rushed for 214 yards on 67 carries, and he's caught 15 passes for 78 yards. He also has yet to score a touchdown in a Jets uniform this year, something he did 46 times in his previous four seasons with Minnesota.

At 28-years-old, Cook will likely look to keep playing in the NFL in 2024. But it seems safe to say that his tenure in New York won't continue after the conclusion of the 2023 season.
