Free-Agent Cornerback No. 3

Kristian Fulton

2023 Team: Tennessee Titans

Kristian Fulton was a name that was associated with the Vikings back in the 2020 NFL Draft. He was seen as one of the better in that class and was often linked to Minnesota with the pick they ultimately used to select Justin Jefferson.

Fulton ended up falling to the second round due to some character and health issues, but he has developed into a solid player.

Fulton has started 37 games in his career and has proven to be a complete defender. He is solid in coverage, with 25 career pass breakups and four career interceptions. He isn't afraid to come up and support the run, too, with 150 total tackles, including six for a loss.

Fulton also is in that age range that Kwesi Adofo-Mensah targets being just 25, and still has untapped potential. He's expected to make around $3 million a year and that's also an attractive number.

It's curious how big a need the Vikings will deem the cornerback position. If they do go out and get a guy like Fulton in free agency, it could mean the end of Andrew Booth Jr. or Akayleb Evans' tenure on the team.
