The Vikings may not realistically have a shot at Josh Allen. But if the Jaguars mishandle the situation and he becomes available, it could be a smart move for Minnesota to redirect the funds they were planning on spending on Hunter to a younger and faster option like Allen.

It seems unlikely that Allen would actually hit the open market, as Jaguars GM Trent Baalke has already stated that he will remain with the team through 2024.

However, circumstances can always shift, and Allen's performance this past season has solidified his position as one of the top pass rushers in the league.

Allen finished the 2023 season with 17.5 sacks, and before the 2023 campaign, the most he registered was 10 in a season. Now, Allen is still young, and this is only going to be his second contract. Although he's expected to stay as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, 32 teams should have interest in Josh Allen this off-season.
