2. Jaren Hall

Jaren Hall was the guy the Vikings turned to as Kirk Cousins' replacement on Sunday, but the rookie quarterback wasn't able to do much during his time on the field. But could Hall have a better performance after a week of preparation as the No. 1 quarterback?

We're likely going to find out during Minnesota's next game when they travel to take on the Atlanta Falcons next Sunday, as the Vikings' only options are probably going to be Hall, Sean Mannion, or someone who was just added to the team during the middle of the week.

Minnesota liked Hall enough to select him in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft earlier this year, and they'll like him even more if he can put together a solid performance that results in a Minnesota win next week.

3. Nick Mullens

If he wasn't currently on the team's injured reserve list, Nick Mullens would probably be the guy the Vikings would go with as their first replacement for Cousins this season.

Mullens was Minnesota's No. 2 quarterback last year, and he was before his injury earlier this season. He isn't eligible to return from injured reserve until Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints. So if Hall plays poorly against the Falcons next Sunday, we could see Mullens starting under center for the Vikings when they take on the Saints in two weeks.
