Vikings Trade Target No. 5

Matthew Judon - EDGE (New England Patriots)

Minnesota needs to have a plan for Danielle Hunter. Do they let him walk and find a cheaper option? Or bring him back to finish his career as a Viking?

Only time will tell.

Minnesota has the cap space to make a big move in free agency or the trade market this offseason, and it's hard to imagine new Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo moving on from his star edge rusher.

But depending on what the team's new front office wants to do, we could see New England begin to sell some of their most valuable assets and restart.

That leaves us with Matthew Judon, who has experience playing in the same system Brian Flores operates in Minnesota.

Judon can play as a standing outside linebacker on the edge, or he can put his hand in the dirt and line up as a defensive end in a 4-3 defense. He can do it all.

Judon may be a cheaper option than Hunter, considering the lucrative market that Danielle is expected to have this offseason.
