Vikings Trade Target No. 7
Patrick Surtain II - CB (Denver Broncos)
If Denver were to make Patrick Surtain II available, it's highly likely that the Vikings would pursue him. Surtain, a former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback, has been exceptional since entering the NFL and is undoubtedly one of the league's premier cornerbacks.
The Vikings have struggled to find a top-tier lockdown corner since Xavier Rhodes in 2017, and acquiring Surtain would undoubtedly bolster their defense.
Following the 2025 season, if not this offseason, Surtain is expected to receive a significant contract extension, which he undoubtedly deserves.
There are few cornerbacks who can line up against the best receivers in the league week after week and play every down, but Surtain is one of them. Brian Flores would undoubtedly be ecstatic if the Vikings made a move for Surtain, and they should take advantage of any opportunity to do so.
While it's difficult to envision Denver parting ways with Surtain, Sean Payton has a reputation for making bold moves, and the Vikings should be ready to act if a chance to acquire Surtain arises.
