Saquon Barkley - RB (New York Giants)

Saquon Barkley's career trajectory has been an interesting one. He was once poised to be the highest-paid running back in NFL history, but injuries have since dampened his play.

Nevertheless, Barkley remains a versatile back with enough talent to invest in for the long term. The Vikings, who have had trouble with their rushing attack, could benefit from adding Barkley to their offense.

While it's unlikely he'll command the $17 million to $20 million per year that was once predicted, signing him to a deal worth between $9 million and $11 million per year would still be a significant value signing for Minnesota, considering the market for running backs.

With his ability to run in between the tackles, beat edge rushers, and serve as a legitimate receiving threat, Barkley is a valuable free-agent candidate for any team in need of a running back, including the Vikings.
