8 greatest veteran QBs in Minnesota Vikings history

Greatest Vikings Veteran QB No. 7
Case Keenum
Keenum was signed by Minnesota before the 2017 season and became the starter after Bradford was injured in Week 1.
He remained the starter for the rest of the season and passed for 3,547 yards, 22 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Keenum also led the NFL in numerous categories, including a passer rating of 98.3.
The Vikings benefited from Keenum’s special season by going 13-3 and winning the NFC North. In the divisional round, Minnesota went toe-to-toe with the New Orleans Saints but found themselves down by one with 10 seconds to play, and the ball perched on the Vikings’ 39-yard line.
On the next snap, Keenum hurled a pass in the direction of receiver Stefon Diggs, who leaped into the air and snagged the ball near the New Orleans 35-yard line. He then eluded two Saints defenders and scampered his way into the end zone for an improbable 29-24 victory.
The “Minneapolis Miracle” propelled the Vikings to the NFC title game, where they were trounced by Philadelphia, 38-7.
Instead of keeping Keenum in 2018, Minnesota allowed him to walk as a free agent. Keenum was 11-3 in his lone year with the Vikes.
