Heading into the final games of the 2023 NFL regular season, which players are likely in their last week as members of the Minnesota Vikings?

With the Minnesota Vikings having a less than three percent chance to make the playoffs heading into their 2023 regular-season finale against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, this weekend's matchup has the potential to be the final time that a number of notable players will suit up in purple and gold.

Following a 13-4 finish in 2022, the 2023 campaign obviously hasn't gone as well for the Vikings, as they are heading into Sunday's contest against the Lions with a 7-9 record.

Injuries have played a significant role in Minnesota's struggles this season, with the team, unsurprisingly, unable to overcome the absences of some of their top players like quarterback Kirk Cousins and wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

Due to these struggles, the Vikings will likely be making a bunch of changes to their roster during the upcoming offseason.

Some of these changes will only require Minnesota to hold the door open for guys entering free agency, while others might be the result of the team deciding to move on from players before their contracts are supposed to expire.

Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah likes to describe the team's roster-building strategy as a competitive rebuild.

Well, Minnesota forgot about the competitive part this season, so if they want to get back to that in 2024, then they're likely going to have to see if some new players can come in and do a better job at helping the team achieve their goals.

To make room for some of these new additions in 2024, the Vikings will definitely be parting with some of the players who will be on the field in Detroit on Sunday.

So, who are some of the members of Minnesota's current roster who are probably heading into their final weekend with the organization?
