Best NFL Prop Bets for Vikings vs. Packers in Week 8
By Jovan Alford
The Minnesota Vikings will look to continue to climb the NFC North standings as they head to Lambeau Field for a showdown with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Sunday’s game will be fun between two teams who are trying to get their seasons back on track and trying to keep up with the Lions. I have two Vikings props that bettors will love and a Packers prop that is worth taking a look at.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Vikings vs. Packers for Week 8
- K.J. Osborn OVER 40.5 receiving yards
- Jordan Addison OVER 58.5 receiving yards
- Jordan Love OVER 216.5 passing yards
K.J. Osborn OVER 40.5 receiving yards
Osborn is coming off a solid game against the 49ers in Week 7, where he had five receptions (six targets) for 47 yards. On paper, the 26-year-old wide receiver doesn’t have a great matchup against the Packers’ defense, which allows the fourth-fewest receiving yards to wide receivers this season.
However, Obsorn is averaging 48 yards per game over his three games and is seeing at least 6.7 targets a game. Earlier this season, the young receiver only got 4.3 targets per game (Weeks 1-4). With Addison emerging in the passing game, I like Osborn to find holes in Green Bay’s defense and hit the over on his prop.
Jordan Addison OVER 58.5 receiving yards
The rookie wide receiver had a ridiculous performance last week against the 49ers, showcasing his speed and ability to be a playmaker in the Vikings’ offense. Addison recorded a season-high seven receptions (10 targets) for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
He’ll now face the Packers’ defense on Sunday, which hasn’t done a great job defending the opposing team’s WR1. This season, Green Bay is ranked 29th in DVOA-WR1 and allows 64.3 receiving yards per game, per ftnfantasy.com.
The Packers might also be without shutdown CB Jaire Alexander, making this a good matchup for the rookie. Addison has gone over 58.5 receiving yards in four out of his last seven games and has seen nine or more targets twice in the past three games.
Jordan Love OVER 15.5 rushing yards
Love has gone through a lot of ups and downs as a full-time starting quarterback. However, he has still found a way to make plays in the passing and running game. Green Bay might need Love to use his mobility on Sunday against a Vikings defense that has blitzed a league-high 150 times this season.
The former first-round pick has done an admirable job of extending plays out of the pocket and picking up yards on the ground. Love is averaging 21.7 rushing yards per game and has gone over 15.5 rushing yards in four out of six games this season.
