Best Vikings roster decision No. 1

Ivan Pace Jr., linebacker

To this point, the Minnesota Vikings have been hit-or-miss in the draft under general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. While some picks have been able to contribute, others have struggled. However, one particular undrafted free agent has flourished.

Ivan Pace Jr. was a priority free agent signing for the Vikings and getting him to sign with Minnesota was one of the best offseason moves the team made. The Vikings needed help at linebacker after parting ways with Eric Kendricks and got it with Pace.

An impressive training camp and preseason led to Ivan Pace Jr. being named a starter. Hard work and excellent play have kept him there and have led to him being named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 14 against the Raiders.

It's wild to think that Pace is only 22 years old and could be a long-time asset for the Minnesota Vikings. Hopefully, he can stick around for a long time and continue to be a big part of the team's defense for many years to come.
