The Minnesota Vikings have some contracts that are holding the team back from going after high-profile talent during the 2024 offseason.

Looking ahead to the 2024 NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings are a team that needs help at multiple positions. They have valuable draft picks, but only have an estimated $28.86 million to get all the moves done that they need to do.

The Vikings will want to work out a long-term extension with superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson and also need to figure out their situation with their quarterback position as well as their lack of edge rushers.

Sadly, Minnesota has backed themselves into a corner with some of the contracts they have worked out over the past few years. And those moves have put the Vikings at a disadvantage entering free agency.

These six players signed contracts with the Minnesota Vikings that could put the team in a tough situation when it comes to the salary cap in 2024. Here are the players and why their contracts are holding the purple and gold back.
