On Monday, a number of former members of the Minnesota Vikings found out they will be participating in the latest adaptation of the "Hard Knocks: In Season" TV series.

Earlier this year, it was reported that the next version of "Hard Knocks: In Season" would focus on an entire division of teams instead of just one franchise. Well, on Monday, the NFL announced that this year's installment of the show will follow the four teams from the AFC North.

That's right, the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers will all have NFL Films camera crews following them around to record their success and failures during the upcoming 2024 season.

Minnesota Vikings not featured in any version of "Hard Knocks" in 2024

"Hard Knocks: In Season" is just one of three different versions of the acclaimed TV series that will be airing during the next handful of months.

For the first time ever, "Hard Knocks: Offseason" will debut on July 2nd on HBO and the MAX app. This specific version will feature behind-the-scenes footage of the New York Giants from things that took place with their organization in the 2024 offseason.

Then, the Chicago Bears will be participating in the original version of "Hard Knocks" this summer, when camera crews will chronicle their 2024 training camp. The first episode of that will likely debut within the first two weeks of August.

And then, at some point in the middle of the 2024 regular season, "Hard Knocks: In Season" will premiere with exclusive footage from the four teams in the AFC North.

In case anyone hasn't noticed already, the Vikings are not among the six teams that will be participating in any of the three versions of "Hard Knocks" this year. In fact, Minnesota has never participated in any version of "Hard Knocks" since the series first debuted in 2001.
