Former Minnesota Vikings who are still free agents

Teddy Bridgewater, quarterback

Quarterback play is one of the most essential parts of having a contender in the modern NFL. By this point in the offseason, most teams have figured out who they want to be their starter for the 2023 season but may need depth behind them.

Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is a high-end backup with plenty of starting experience who could help a team that doesn't have a comfortable backup. Bridgewater started 28 games for the purple and gold in 2014 and 2015.

After his stint with the Vikings, Bridgewater has played with the Saints, Panthers, Broncos, and, most recently, the Miami Dolphins in 2022 as a backup for Tua Tagovailoa. He has a carreer record as a starter of 33-32.

Teams with a little bit of salary cap space left and needing an experienced backup quarterback will likely be calling Teddy Bridgewater's agent to inquire about his services. He is another former Minnesota player who might not be waiting too long for another opportunity.
