Former Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph has signed a deal to join the Buffalo Bills and compete for a Super Bowl ring.

After the 2019 season, the Minnesota Vikings decided to part with defensive tackle Linval Joseph, and it seemed like his time in the NFL was close to being over. Fast forward to now, and Joseph is about to begin his 14th season in the league after recently signing with the Buffalo Bills.

Following the recent injury to DaQuan Jones, the Bills were in need of some help for their interior defensive line. So on Thursday, they were able to agree to a deal with Joseph.

Heading into Week 9, Buffalo is allowing the second-most rushing yards per attempt to their opponents in the NFL, so they're hoping that the former Vikings defensive tackle can help improve that area of their team moving forward.

Will former Minnesota Vikings DT Linval Joseph help lead the Buffalo Bills to the Super Bowl?

Just as he did last season, Joseph waited until after this year's trade deadline to sign with a team that has a chance to contend for a championship.

In 2022, he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11 and helped them earn a spot in last season's Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite their current 5-3 record, the Bills are still viewed as one of the top teams in the AFC that could represent the conference in this season's Super Bowl. So they're hoping that Joseph can help them reach the Super Bowl just like he helped the Eagles get to the big game last season.

In 11 games with Philadelphia in 2022 (including the playoffs), Joseph accumulated 21 tackles and 0.5 sacks.
