Now that former Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is the defensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys, will any of his former players join him?

After taking a few years off from coaching, Mike Zimmer is returning to the NFL sidelines. He has signed on to become the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, a role where he could thrive in the Lone Star State.

The Cowboys are a team that has a lot of talent but could be in the market for more help on defense. Although they also need offensive linemen and help in the run game, don't be surprised if Mike Zimmer draws some of his former players to Dallas.

While with the Vikings, Mike Zimmer's defenses were hit or miss, but he is known for an aggressive blitzing strategy that requires quality pass-rushing pressure and puts a lot of responsibility on defensive backs.

At one time, Mike Zimmer was known as a "cornerback whisperer" who could work with defensive backs on the Minnesota Vikings and get solid results. Which former purple and gold players could be wearing a star on their helmets in 2024?
