Former Vikings potentially going to Dallas No. 4

Eric Wilson - LB

It's been a few years since Eric Wilson suited up for the Minnesota Vikings. He spent the last two seasons with the Green Bay Packers and 2021 with Houston and Philadelphia but never really got back to the form he had in Minnesota.

In the first four years of his career with the Vikings, Eric Wilson had a total of eight sacks in 25 starts (64 games played). Since leaving Minnesota, Wilson has only registered one sack while only starting two games (44 games played).

Wilson was a tackling machine his last season in Minnesota, racking up a combined 122 tackles and registering nine quarterback hits with three interceptions. Zimmer got the most out of Wilson in 2020 and could look to do it again.

Since he hasn't been very productive since leaving Minnesota, bringing Wilson to Dallas wouldn't likely cost the team very much against their salary cap while giving Mike Zimmer a familiar player to work with.
