Potential returning Viking No. 9

Latavius Murray, running back

Are you sick of seeing running backs on this list yet? Latavius Murray is the fourth player at this position on the list who is an interesting free agent for the Minnesota Vikings to help breathe some life into the rushing attack.

Murray played in 16 games for the Buffalo Bills last season, starting four contests. He ran 79 times, gaining 300 yards and scoring four touchdowns in a backup and rotational role where he was effective when called upon.

With a run style similar to Alexander Mattison, he could be a direct backup or rotational player for him while Ty Chandler retains the role of the change-of-pace running back, balancing out Minnesota's rushing attack.

If the Minnesota Vikings can establish some threat of a run game, the play-action passing attack will get even more deadly. Making sure the team has a player who can get in the end zone might be a smart call this offseason.
