Potential returning Viking No. 10

Duke Shelley, cornerback

The Minnesota Vikings have a stable full of young cornerbacks. Byron Murphy is the veteran holding it all together while Mekhi Blackmon, Akayleb Evans, Andrew Booth Jr., NaJee Thompson, A.J. Green III, and Jay Ward all learn and develop.

Duke Shelley is another young player who flashed at times for the Vikings during his first stint with the team. He played 11 games with the Los Angeles Rams last season but only played 76 defensive snaps.

Even though he may not get significantly more playing time in Minnesota, bringing Shelley into training camp to see if he can play at a high level is worth trying even if they decide to stick with their young players already on the roster.

Cornerback isn't a massive need for the Minnesota Vikings this offseason but it wouldn't be shocking to see the team do what they can to ensure they have as much talent available as possible as they prepare for the 2024 NFL season.
