Free-Agent Guard No. 2

Ezra Cleveland

2023 Team: Jacksonville Jaguars

Wouldn't it be kind of fun for the Minnesota Vikings to sign Ezra Cleveland this offseason since he was a player they got a draft pick for in a midseason trade after spending a second-round pick on him in the 2020 NFL Draft?

Cleveland would be a familiar face to the Vikings offense, and the team would know exactly what they are getting from him. He started 49 games in a purple and gold jersey before starting five of his last nine games in Jacksonville.

Another player coming off a rookie deal, it's hard to estimate what Minnesota would have to pay for his services in 2024. Spotrac estimates his value to be $13.3 million, but that seems like a best-case scenario for him.

The six-foot-six, 312-pound blocker was responsible for three sacks and three penalties last season but ended with a PFF grade of 59.5 while playing 749 snaps. Despite that grade, he would be a candidate to immediately plug back in at left guard.
