Free-Agent Guard No. 3

Damien Lewis

2023 Team: Seattle Seahawks

At one time, Damien Lewis looked like he would be a bust of a third-round pick for the Seattle Seahawks. However, consistent improvement in pass protection makes him an interesting option for the Minnesota Vikings.

Lewis played 926 offensive snaps in 2023 and was responsible for four penalties and three sacks. His tendency to stand up better against powerful defenders than quick ones has been well-noted among his critics.

Earning a PFF grade of 59.6 last season, Lewis is a solid but not spectacular blocker. He started all 61 games he suited up for while with the Seahawks while having the ability to play left or right guard as needed.

Damien Lewis has an estimated value of $7.4 million for the 2024 season, according to Spotrac, making him a more affordable option than the two guards previously mentioned on this list, and that could be appealing to the Minnesota Vikings.
