Free-Agent Guard No. 4

Jon Runyan

2023 Team: Green Bay Packers

Unless you're one of those Minnesota Vikings fans who turn up their nose about signing a player from a division rival, there are some great reasons the team should show some interest in Jon Runyan during free agency.

Another guard who can play on either the left or right side, the former University of Michigan blocker didn't start as a rookie in Green Bay, although he did play in all 16 games. He did start 50 of 51 possible games in his final three seasons with the Packers.

As with other players on this list, Runyan is coming off his rookie deal and does not have a current estimated value on Spotrac. PFF has his grade as 54.7 for 2023 and shows him as responsible for two sacks and six penalties last season.

Although Runyan might not get as much attention in free agency as some of the other interior linemen on this list, his dependability makes him an interesting option for the Minnesota Vikings if the price is right.
