Matt Haack, punter

There is absolutely nothing wrong with current Minnesota Vikings punter Ryan Wright but that doesn't mean that having another punter for camp and competition would be a bad idea at all for the team.

Matt Haack is 28 years old and averaged a net gain of 40.2 yards per punt last season with the Indianapolis Colts. He also boomed a 70-yard punt last year for Indy, the longest of his six-season career.

Haack is unlikely to unseat Wright as the team's starting punter, but he will provide the team with a camp leg and allow them to get a look at an established free agent punter in case something happens to Wright.

Last season, the Colts signed Haack to a one-year deal with a little over $1M and since he's still a free agent, the Minnesota Vikings might be able to bring him in for even less than that or with a small amount of guaranteed money to limit salary cap implications.
