Possible Vikings free agent target No. 2: Miles Boykin

2023 Team: Pittsburgh Steelers ($1.08M cap hit)

When looking at a wide receiver, it can be hard to measure a player's production against their potential. For the last two seasons, Miles Boykin has been a forgotten man despite playing in 33 games over that time.

At six-foot-four and 220 pounds, Boykin could bring some size to the team while getting an opportunity to prove himself with the Minnesota Vikings and show that the potential he had earlier in his career wasn't a fluke.

Miles Boykin was a third-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2019. As a rookie, he only caught 13 passes but turned that into 198 yards and three touchdowns. He followed that up with a second season where he grabbed 19 passes for 296 yards and four scores.

The 27-year-old Boykin would be an interesting option to bring in to kick the tires during training camp and preseason but not a player you would immediately plug into the lineup. He would be a great low-risk gamble for the Minnesota Vikings.
