6 free-agent wide receivers the Vikings could sign in 2024

Possible Vikings free agent target No. 4: Van Jefferson
2023 Team: Los Angeles Rams/Atlanta Falcons (0.993M cap hit)
The Los Angeles Rams traded Van Jefferson to the Atlanta Falcons during the 2023 NFL season. Jefferson was productive behind triple-crown winner Cooper Kupp in L.A. but struggled in a questionable Falcons offense last year.
Jefferson's best year came in 2021 when he started all 17 games, had 802 yards, and scored six touchdowns. His ability to contribute behind superstar pass-catchers could be a valuable asset to the Minnesota Vikings.
The 27-year-old receiver stands six-foot-one and weighs in at 200 pounds. With the exception of his 2021 season, his target numbers have been low and that has led to smaller contributions to his football teams.
As a third wide receiver with the Minnesota Vikings, Van Jefferson could get opportunities to contribute while defenses draw their attention to another pretty good pass-catcher with the last name Jefferson.
