Realistic Vikings Free Agent No. 3

Montravius Adams - DL

2023 Team: Pittsburgh Steelers

Another player whom Brian Flores should be familiar with is former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Montravius Adams. The two spent time together in 2022 when Flores was the Senior defensive assistant in Pittsburgh.

Since Christian Wilkins might be out of Minnesota's price range, Adams might be a player to bring in on a small contract to see what kind of production he can have. Sadly, the 6-foot-4, 304-pound defender hasn't registered a sack since 2018.

Playing a career-high 416 defensive snaps in 2023, Adams will likely be seen as a depth or rotational player, which lines up pretty well with his previous two-year, $5 million contract that he signed with the Steelers in 2022.

Although Montravius Adams wouldn't be a flashy signing for the Minnesota Vikings this offseason, he could provide a big body in the trenches that could help to slow down opposing teams if his number is called on game day.
