Realistic Vikings Free Agent No. 4

Tremayne Anchrum - OG

2023 Team: Los Angeles Rams

The Minnesota Vikings aren't likely to make many changes to the offensive line this offseason. They need to find a starting left guard and some bodies for depth, meaning a player like Tremayne Anchrum could be an option.

Playing in all 17 games for the Los Angeles Rams in 2023, Anchrum missed much of the 2022 season with a fractured leg. The 6-foot-2 and 314-pound blocker should be familiar to Vikings' head coach Kevin O'Connell since he was a seventh-round pick of the Rams in 2020.

With experience at tackle and guard, Anchrum could be a depth signing for the offensive line that can benefit multiple spots. The former Clemson standout rarely saw action in Los Angeles, making him a strong candidate for the practice squad or deep on the depth chart.

Although his best play has yet to be seen, these are the type of players who can benefit from an inexpensive "prove-it" style deal. Kicking the tires on an under-the-radar free agent who is familiar to the coaching staff can be a worthwhile investment.
