Potential Vikings Super Bowl free agent No. 1

Javon Kinlaw, DT - 49ers

It's no secret that the Minnesota Vikings need some help in the trenches. Javon Kinlaw might not be a big-name free agent this offseason, but he is more than capable of joining a team like the Minnesota Vikings and making an impact.

26-year-old Kinlaw was a first-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers out of South Carolina who was selected with the No. 14 overall pick. Finishing his fourth season with the 49ers, Kinlaw has started 28 games while playing in 41 contests.

Javon Kinlaw played his first full regular season this year after ending 2021 and 2022 on injured reserve. San Francisco declined his fifth-year option but he responded by earning 25 combined tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 3 pass defenses.

At six-foot-five and 319 pounds, Kinlaw would be a big body to add to a defensive line that needs assistance. He shouldn't command a huge salary, but could be a solid asset for an aggressive Brian Flores defense with the Minnesota Vikings.
