Potential Vikings Super Bowl free agent No. 2

Jerick McKinnon, RB - Chiefs

It could just as easy be Clyde Edwards-Helaire here on the list, as the Minnesota Vikings will be looking for a running back to make their backfield more productive in 2024 and that could be Jerick McKinnon.

Vikings fans should be very familiar with McKinnon. He was a third-round pick of Minnesota out of Georgia Southern University in 2014 and contributed in both the run and pass game as part of a committee.

McKinnon was placed on injured reserve by Kansas City before Week 16 but has been activated for the Super Bowl. 2023 was a down year for the 31-year-old running back, averaging only 2.9 yards per carry and gaining only 60 rushing yards.

It will be nice to see former Minnesota Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon playing in Super Bowl LVIII. It will also be interesting to see him in action again and wonder how he would fit into the purple and gold locker room.
