Potential Vikings Super Bowl free agent No. 4

Richie James, WR - Chiefs

The Minnesota Vikings need help at wide receiver despite having Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison ready to go for the 2024 NFL season. However, the depth behind those two dynamic pass-catchers is questionable at best.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Richie James is an interesting player. His 2023 season has been disappointing but he has flashed brilliance in the past, specifically in 2022 when he played with the New York Giants.

In five seasons, James has started 15 games while playing in 66 contests. An experienced pass-catcher, he has averaged over ten yards or more per reception each season in the NFL and could be an asset in an aggressive passing scheme.

Considering his down year in 2023, Richie James likely wouldn't be an expensive addition to the Minnesota Vikings while he could compete for playing time with individuals like Jalen Nailor, Lucky Johnson, and Malik Knowles.
