Josh Jackson, cornerback
While there wasn't much of a change when it comes to the offensive line, the cornerback room is going to look quite a bit different during the upcoming season. Both starters from last year are no longer with the team, making this unit a big question mark heading into this season.
Signing cornerback Josh Jackson isn't going to solve many problems but the second-round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in 2018 showed a lot of potential as a rookie when he defended ten passes.
Since his rookie year, the six-foot-tall Texas native has struggled to contribute. After his exit from Green Bay, Jackson struggled to catch on with the Chiefs, Cardinals, and Steelers but still has the talent to play in the league.
At only 27 years old, making a small investment to kick the tires on a cornerback that has shown some potential in the past isn't a bad idea, especially when that player is at a position where some help is needed.
