Paul Flatley arrived in Minnesota in 1963 and became the Vikings' first-ever NFL Rookie of the Year after hauling in 51 receptions and four touchdowns.

Dave Osborn became a Viking in 1965, and as a running back, he put up modest stats that season. Jim Phillips was also added to the Minnesota roster in 1965 after seven years with the LA Rams.

Flatley, Osborn, and Phillips were teammates for three seasons. Their best year together was in 1966, when the trio combined for 97 receptions (led by Flatley’s 50 catches).

After the 1967 season, Flately was sent to the Atlanta Falcons and Phillips retired.

Osborn played with Minnesota through the 1975 season and scored the Vikings only points of Super Bowl IV.
