How many times have the Vikings had multiple first-round picks in the NFL Draft?
By Adam Patrick
Currently, the Minnesota Vikings will enter next week's 2024 NFL Draft with two selections in the first round. Many expect the Vikings to use both picks to trade up in the opening round, but as of Friday, April 19th, they are still in possession of two first-round selections in this year's draft.
If Minnesota actually ends up holding onto both of their 2024 first-round picks, it won't be the first time the franchise has made more than one selection in the opening round of an NFL Draft. In fact, it would be the 11th time since the Vikings' very first year as a professional football team in 1961.
Before Minnesota makes a decision about their two current first-round draft picks, let's look back at the previous 10 times the team has had at least two selections in the opening round of an NFL Draft, starting with the most recent instance.
