There may not be a more competitive division in the NFL than the NFC North. The Minnesota Vikings are on top of the standings through three weeks after defeating the Giants, 49ers, and Texans. Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers have one loss after winning back-to-back games against the Colts and Titans.

Both the Vikings and Packers are solid teams with a lot to prove. Their Week 4 game on Sunday should be a competitive contest between two teams with an extremely rich history that only expounds the border battle between Minnesota's team and Wisconsin's team.

Having the best players available will help each team in their fight for a win at Lambeau Field. Last week, Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold went to the sideline with a slight limp but returned to the game. Also, Packers' passer Jordan Love has been recovering from a sprained MCL and could start on Sunday.

Full injury update: Vikings vs. Packers

Despite what happened in Week 3, Sam Darnold is expected to suit up and start at quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. The team got better news, with wide receiver Jordan Addison, offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw, and edge rusher Dallas Turner expected to be in action against the Packers.

Sadly, interior linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. is set to miss Week 4 due to an ankle injury. He missed last week's game against the Houston Texans and is the only player ruled out for Minnesota on the injury report.

On the other hand, the Green Bay Packers have an interesting list of injuries. Offensive lineman Jordan Morgan is ruled out with a shoulder injury and is the only player with that designation for the team.

However, cornerback Carrington Valentine is listed as doubtful with a shoulder injury and cornerback Jaire Alexander is questionable while dealing with a quadricep/groin issue. Neither of those players participated in Friday's practice.

Adding more intrigue to the situation, the Packers elevated Kamal Hadden and Robert Rochell to the 53-man roster from the practice squad for this game. This could be a sign that one or both of the injured cornerbacks might not be able to play against the Vikings.

It would be a bit of a shame if Jaire Alexander Isn't able to play on Sunday. He and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson have a history that would add another dimension of intrigue to the game.
