Exclusive Justin Jefferson footage shared in preview of new TV show

After the success of last summer's "Quarterback" docu-series that featured former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, Netflix is back with "Receiver" this year.
The new docu-series will include behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with multiple pass-catchers from around the NFL, including Vikings superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
On Thursday, Netflix shared a trailer for "Receiver" and Jefferson is immediately featured in the opening few seconds of the video.
Netflix's "Receiver" chronicles difficult 2023 season for Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson
While the "Quarterback" docu-series followed Cousins during a 2022 season in which he helped Minnesota win 13 games and the NFC North, "Receiver" won't include as many happy moments for Jefferson.
The docu-series will cover what the Vikings All-Pro receiver experienced during the 2023 season, during which he missed multiple games due to injury for the first time in his NFL career.
In the trailer, clips are included that show Jefferson rehabbing from his injury and dealing with the difficulty of not being out on the field with his Minnesota teammates.
While we know that a bunch of content from the Vikings receiver's 2023 season will be featured in the show, what else will be included? Will anything from the last few months also be featured?
Will we get to see Jefferson's reaction to Cousins signing with the Atlanta Falcons? What about the receiver finding out Minnesota used its first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on former Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy? Will any part of the show include Jefferson getting rewarded earlier this month with the richest non-quarterback contract in league history?
These are all questions that will be answered when the first episode of the docu-series is released on Netflix on Wednesday, July 10th.
In addition to Jefferson, the show also chronicles the journeys of four other pass-catchers during the 2023 NFL season, including Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, and Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions.
