Vikings player No. 5

Scott Studwell, linebacker (201 games played)

The most recent player on this list, Scott Studwell was an iron man defender for the Minnesota Vikings who played from 1977 to 1990. Over that time, he was named to the Pro Bowl twice and earned his way into the team's Ring of Honor.

Studwell did not become a full-time starter until 1981 but then held down a spot for a decade. A ninth-round pick in the 1977 NFL Draft, the six-foot-two defender transitioned from a player to a scout, becoming the Director of College Scouting for the team after his retirement.

An Indiana native, Studwell finished his career with 16 fumble recoveries, 11 interceptions, and 10 sacks among other statistics. He was a player who would do anything that was asked of him and be able to do a solid job at the task.

The nickname "Stud" is more than just a play on Scott Studwell's last name. He was able to contribute to the Minnesota Vikings for 14 total seasons and never played a single game for any team other than the purple and gold.
