Ty Chandler vs. Denver run defense
Vikings RB1 Alexander Mattison is another player who has a foggy status for SNF against Denver, as he left the game against New Orleans with a concussion. Whether or not Mattison plays, it appears as though 2nd year RB Ty Chandler has earned more playing time regardless, and should see a sizable amount of carries no matter the status of Mattison.
The Denver Broncos' run defense has been shaky this season, and they face off against a Minnesota Vikings run offense that has been even shakier and is dealing with injuries that will force the next man up into action.
If Minnesota wants to get the win, they need to show some signs of life in the run game this week, and facing off against a poor run defense should help them. Ty Chandler showed some flashes against a solid Saints defense, so there is hope that he can make some noise for Minnesota this weekend in primetime.
The Minnesota Vikings cannot continue relying on Josh Dobbs to be their most effective runner, and the task of stepping up the run game looks to fall on the young shoulders of Ty Chandler this week.
