Vikings player No. 1

Jalen Nailor, wide receiver

Nobody is going to be in a position to pass Justin Jefferson on the Minnesota Vikings depth chart at wide receiver, but the absence of Adam Thielen has opened the door for some other pass-catchers to have a bigger role this season.

Although the Vikings used a first round draft pick on Jordan Addison and K.J. Osborn has done more than enough to earn a role on offense, second-year receiver Jalen Nailor has been looking very good when given opportunities.

Last season, Nailor played just 57 offense snaps but was able to turn that into nine catches on 13 targets for 179 yards and a touchdown. He should be in line for more opportunities this season if he is named the No. 4 wide receiver on the depth chart.

During training camp, Jalen Nailor has joined Justin Jefferson and K.J. Osborn in the first-team offense, showing how much the coaching staff likes the six-foot tall Michigan State product going forward.
