4 Vikings climbing up the 2023 depth chart at training camp

Vikings player No. 4
K.J. Osborn, wide receiver
When longtime Minnesota Vikings receiver Adam Thielen exited the team this offseason, the question of who would step up to replace his production raised some eyebrows among fans and experts.
K.J. Osborn has passed every test given to him so far, so he immediately got penciled in as the No. 2 behind Justin Jefferson. When Minnesota drafted Jordan Addison, it became highly possible that Osborn would stay third on the depth chart.
A good start to training camp has him running opposite Jefferson and seeing a lot of action. Even if he isn't named a starter, it is easy to expect the Vikings to find ways to get him on the field with Jefferson and Hockenson in passing situations.
To make things even more interesting, K.J. Osborn is entering a contract year where an increase in statistics could mean a bigger payday or a possible extension. Don't expect Osborn to slow down any time soon.
