Undrafted: Andre Carter II - OLB (Army)

Stats: 1 tackle

Just need to mention a couple more players here quickly. Andre Carter II was kept primarily for his immense potential but has been active for four games this season.

He's had some pressures but has only amassed one tackle so far. Perhaps he gets in more these last eight games, but he's still a major work in progress.

GRADE: D

Undrafted: Najee "Flash" Thompson - CB (Georgia Southern)

Stats: 4 tackles

Najee Thompson was the most unlikely of the undrafted rookies to make the team, but he did it because of his prowess on special teams.

Thompson made play after play in the preseason, just laying out would-be returners on punt or kick returns. That made him a fan favorite and earned him a spot on the 53-man roster.

When the games started to count, Najee was often the first man down the field but failed to make the play. That changed last week against the Falcons as he laid out a returner, which did nothing but get the defense fired up.

He's also the Vikings celebrations coordinator for the team, which is a big accomplishment for an undrafted player.
