Fourth-Round Pick No. 1 (105th overall)

Christian Haynes - IOL (UCONN)

There's no way around it; the Vikings' interior offensive line stinks, more specifically, right guard Ed Ingram, who somehow has proven he's worse than Dru Samia was with Minnesota.

The Vikings offense needs big hog mollies on the interior of the offensive line. Insert UConn guard Christian Haynes.

Haynes would be an immediate upgrade over Ingram at right guard, and he could eventually move over to the left side of the line as he gets more seasoned. Haynes is a former third-team All-American who is battling for a first or second-team All-American spot in 2023.

The problem for Haynes is that he plays at UConn. If he was playing for the likes of Alabama or Georgia, Hayes would probably be in discussion for the first interior offensive lineman taken in the 2024 draft.

He is an exceptional pass blocker and an above-average run blocker who has the athleticism to pull if needed. Haynes would immediately make the Vikings' offensive line better.
