Fourth-Round Pick No. 1 (108th overall)

Max Melton - CB (Rutgers)

After another season of the secondary getting toasted by anybody and everybody, the Vikings will probably look to add more depth to the cornerback room.

Max Melton has enough size and length to play on the perimeter, but he also has the speed and coverage ability to play in the slot if needed.

Melton does an excellent job in both man and zone coverage and can really make a name for himself with a strong showing in the pre-draft circuit.

If Melton does become a Viking, he would have the opportunity to compete with his brother, Bo, a wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers.

Cornerback has not been a strong area for Minnesota via the draft the past few years.

Akayleb Evans has really struggled this season, while Andrew Booth Jr. hardly sees the field for a team that could really use an impact player.

Mekhi Blackmon had some bright moments in his rookie season but still had plenty of growing pains himself.

I would not be surprised one bit to see the Vikings go and get some extra bodies to compete for a roster spot next season.
