Vikings Tight Ends (3)

  • T.J. Hockenson
  • Josh Oliver
  • Johnny Mundt

Trading for T.J. Hockenson after the mid-season injury to Irv Smith Jr. last season is looking like a very smart move for the Minnesota Vikings front office. He is a dangerous weapon in the team's offense and should take pressure off the recievers.

Josh Oliver was signed this offseason and will likely act as the team's primary blocking tight end. He wasn't used much in the Jaguars or Ravens passing attacks but could get more opportunities as a recieving option this year.

Vikings fans didn't know what to expect from Johnny Mundt when the team signed him last season but his blend of blocking and pass-catching makes him a valuable depth option who can also contribute on special teams.

The future of Nick Muse is up in the air this season. He will need to put together an impressive training camp and preseason in order to earn a spot on the roster but could be an option for the practice squad this year.
